Imaging services provider RadNet and Kennedy Health System have commenced their joint venture in southern New Jersey with the purchase of two outpatient facilities from Able Imaging.
The joint venture -- Garden State Radiology Network -- includes Kennedy's outpatient imaging locations, RadNet's Haddon Heights imaging facility, and the two newly acquired Able Imaging locations, along with the development of new imaging facilities in southern New Jersey.
The joint venture will also contract with commercial insurance companies, utilization and radiology benefits managers, workers' compensation carriers, and all other health plans and local insurers. The firms will also seek to build or buy additional imaging centers or enter into related healthcare businesses in southern New Jersey.
