Imaging services provider Radiology Partners has unveiled definitive plans to acquire Arizona-based Southwest Diagnostic Imaging (SDI).
SDI has more than 120 radiologists serving 15 hospitals and 35 outpatient offices. The addition would increase Radiology Partners' coverage to more than 525 radiologists serving more than 400 sites in 10 states.
SDI was founded in 2004 through the merger of Scottsdale Medical Imaging and Valley Radiologists. In 2014, East Valley Diagnostic Imaging joined SDI.
The agreement is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
