A medical imaging center in Salem, OR, will close January 26, laying off 34 employees, according to a report from the Statesman Journal.
Diagnostic Imaging of Salem is part of Diagnostic Imaging Assoc. and offers x-rays, MRIs, mammograms, and other services for patients in Willamette Valley. The facility is closing due to declines in healthcare reimbursements.
Those being laid off include technologists and support staff. No radiologists will be let go, according to the Journal.
