National medical group Mednax has purchased radiology group Cool Springs Interventional of Franklin, TN, in an all-cash transaction.
Established in 2008, Cool Springs Interventional provides outpatient interventional radiology procedures. It will now be managed by Radiology Alliance, a Nashville, TN-based Mednax affiliate. The firm did not disclose any additional details of the deal, which is expected to be immediately accretive to its earnings.
In other Mednax news, the company said that its affiliate, Radiology Assoc. of South Florida in Miami, has also begun providing radiology services in Naples, FL, to Physicians Regional Healthcare System. The radiology group will provide services for the healthcare system's Pine Ridge and Collier medical centers, Mednax said.
