Physician-owned radiology group US Radiology Specialists announced new partnerships with Radiology Ltd. and US Imaging.
Radiology Ltd. is the largest private practice radiology group and outpatient imaging operator in Tucson, AZ. Founded in 1933, the groups' 40 radiologists are fellowship-trained in all major subspecialties, including women's imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, and neuroradiology. The team provides 24-hour coverage for two of the largest hospitals in southern Arizona: Tucson Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital. Radiology Ltd. also operates nine American College of Radiology-accredited outpatient diagnostic imaging centers, including two full-service women's imaging centers.
US Imaging is the owner and operator of eight outpatient imaging centers in the greater Houston area. Adding US Imaging, along with its Touchstone and American Health Imaging operations, makes US Radiology the largest operator of outpatient imaging facilities in Texas, according to the group.
