Healthcare performance improvement technology firm Accumen has launched a new survey designed to assess how ready healthcare providers are for a major crisis.
Accumen's National Health System Crisis Readiness Survey is designed to assess operational strengths and weaknesses of healthcare providers when it comes to crisis preparedness. The survey will include U.S. clinical labs, lab outreach, patient blood management, anemia management, radiology, and data departments across hospitals and health systems.
Accumen plans to compile the results and create a benchmarking and insights report that will give U.S. healthcare providers metrics to measure their current performance and help them identify areas where they need to improve. The report could prove useful for crises such as a second COVID-19 surge, according to the company.
Invitations to the survey are being sent to hospitals and healthcare providers, according to the company.
