IRIA elects new leadership

The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) has announced the election of officers for 2002. This year's leaders include Dr. I. Kandasamy, president; Drs. Om Tavri and C. Pant, presidents-elect; Drs. Gautam Goswami and Pramode Sinha, vice presidents; and Dr. S. Doda, secretary general.

Founded in Calcutta in 1931, IRIA held its 55th annual conference earlier this month in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta). Its official publication, the Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging, is published four times a year.
