The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) of Rosemont, IL, has moved the location of its 2006 annual conference from New Orleans to Chicago.
The conference was scheduled to take place in New Orleans from March 22-26, but the society began looking for a new location after it was notified by the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau that all city-wide conventions in the city were cancelled through March 31, 2006.
The meeting will now be held at Chicago's McCormick Place, on the same dates. The society said it will begin distributing information about the new meeting in the next 60 days.
