The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has elected Joseph Whitton as speaker and Daniel DeMaio as vice speaker of the ASRT House of Delegates for the 2019-2020 term.
Whitton formerly served as vice speaker of the house and is a member of the ASRT board of directors. He is the radiography and medical imaging program director at Stony Brook University's School of Health Technology and Management in New York.
DeMaio previously served as chairman of the ASRT commission and education chapter. He is the department chair of radiography and director of the radiography program at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT.
