The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund in support of ongoing recovery efforts for areas in the Southeast and Midwest devastated by tornadoes and floods in late April.
ASRT said it's also offering a number of additional services for its members who live in counties declared as disaster areas. Members will receive a free replacement copy of the May-June issue of its Radiologic Technology journal, and ASRT will accept directed reading answer sheets from affected members for up to 90 days beyond their expiration date until July 31.
ASRT will also offer a 90-day extension on membership renewals for radiologic technologists in disaster areas whose memberships expire between April 1 and July 31.
