ASRT Foundation taps speaker award winners

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation has selected recipients of its International Speakers Exchange Award (ISEA).

Carol Mount will present "3D Printing: The Next Technological Revolution in Radiology" at the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) annual meeting in Montreal in May. She is recently retired from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Gerald Conlogue will present "Integrating Radiographers onto the Forensic Team: A Decade at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Connecticut" at the 2015 United Kingdom Radiological Congress (UKRC) in Liverpool, England, in June. Conlogue is a professor of diagnostic imaging at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.

The ISEA program facilitates cross-cultural interaction and collaboration on best practices among the world's radiologic technologists. The program is supported by radiation oncology firm Elekta. Applications for the 2016 ISEA program will be available this summer and will be due on October 1, ASRT Foundation said.
