The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) said it will donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Florence relief fund to assist with disaster relief efforts in North Carolina and South Carolina.
The donations continue a series of contributions by the organization to the American Red Cross over the years to support hurricane, tornado, and flooding disaster relief efforts.
"As an organization dedicated to providing safe and high-quality patient care, we're committed to helping those in need," said Amanda Garlock, ASRT chairman, in a statement. "In addition, there are a lot of ASRT members who live in the Carolinas, so it's essential that we contribute to their safety and recovery."
