The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation has awarded scholarships to 50 medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals to support professional and educational advancement.
Winners of the society’s 2023-2024 Advancing Your Profession: Education and Professional Growth Scholarships program receive scholarship funds that may be used for continuing education programs, textbooks and educational products, conferences, or ARRT primary or secondary certification exams.
One recipient was selected per active ASRT state affiliate or local affiliate, the foundation said. Applicants were required to submit a short essay answering the question, “How does acquiring and maintaining certification improve patient care?”
