The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has launched a new online medical writing educational series.
The Research and Writing Essentials course features a seven-module educational program designed for anyone interested in improving their writing skills, conducting medical research, or increasing their chances of getting their articles published in medical journals, ASRT said.
The modules cover topics such as choosing and narrowing a research subject, writing a literature review, understanding research methods, and matching research design and analyses. In addition, one module specifically focuses on the mechanics of good writing.
Radiologic technologists can earn continuing education credit for each module, according to the organization.
