The American College of Radiology (ACR) is now accepting applications for the Bruce J. Hillman Fellowship in Scholarly Publishing.
The fellowship is designed to provide a concentrated, two-week experience in medical editing, journalism, and publishing for a qualified staff radiologist.
During the spring/summer of 2015, fellows will travel to ACR's headquarters in Reston, VA, and receive hands-on experience in editing and publishing from the staff and leadership of the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
To qualify for the fellowship, the radiologist must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of three years in a post-training staff position at an academic or private practice
- Membership in the ACR
- Evidence of interest in medical journalism, including publishing articles and serving as a reviewer for medical journals or participating on an editorial board
The deadline for applications is August 31.
