Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas and the Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) have partnered to better educate the next generation's radiology department leaders and technologists in x-ray systems.
Budding leaders and technologists will experience hands-on, project-based learning on the latest advancements in x-ray imaging systems thanks to the partnership. Konica Minolta also will provide training to mechanical, biomedical, and electrical engineering students.
Oregon Tech was interested in partnering with Konica Minolta due to its large number of installations in many leading hospitals, imaging centers, and academic facilities throughout the U.S. Recently, Oregon Tech installed approximately 10 of the company's radiography platforms in a renovated on-campus lab.
