The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) at its board of trustees meeting extended recognition for the radiologist assistant program at Midwestern State University for another five years.
People who graduate from the program will meet ARRT’s educational eligibility requirement of completing a program recognized by the registry.
To receive or maintain ARRT recognition, educational programs must meet criteria including accreditation, clinical education, and preceptorship requirements. The ARRT evaluates programs based on its recognition criteria for radiologist assistant education programs. Five years is the maximum recognition time ARRT awards for programs seeking continued recognition.
The ARRT recognizes the radiologist assistant educational programs at the following institutions:
- Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA
- Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX
- Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT
- Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Newark, NJ
- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC
- Weber State University, Ogden, UT
