The Academy for Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research (ARBIR) has selected 42 investigators to receive its 2024 Distinguished Investigator Award.
Awardees include radiologists, other physicians whose clinical focus is imaging, and medical imaging scientists, according to the academy. This year’s cohort includes investigators from various institutions among the academy’s membership -- academic, industry, and societies.
Recognizing these imaging investigators highlights their accomplishments rather than qualifications, the academy said.
The class of 2024 will be inducted into the Academy’s Council of Distinguished Investigators during RSNA 2024 in December.
