The Fogarty Institute for Innovation, in conjunction with El Camino Hospital's Norma Melchor Heart and Vascular Institute and VIVA Physicians, is accepting applications for its Advanced Endovascular Training Fellowship.
The fellowship will run from July 2014 to June 2015. Applications will be accepted through the institute's website until February 14; applicants will be notified if they are finalists on February 18.
The one-year fellowship offers cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons the chance to broaden their expertise in vascular disorders, and it conforms to Accreditation Council for Graduate Academic Education (ACGME) guidelines, the Fogarty Institute said.
To be eligible, applicants must have board-certified or board-eligible training in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery and a California physician's license.
