The American College of Radiology's Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) will launch its new Leadership Essentials program this summer for radiology residents and fellows.
The 10-month program, which was designed in collaboration with residency program directors, covers real-world scenarios such as rookie leadership, contracts and negotiations, constructing and maintaining high-functioning teams, burnout, and more, according to the RLI.
Leadership Essentials will run from early August 2018 through May 2019. Each month, a topic will be covered in a recorded video lecture that residents can watch at their convenience. The RLI faculty, which includes Dr. Gregory Nicola, Dr. Carolyn Meltzer, Dr. Cheri Canon, and Dr. Alexander Norbash, will host a live Q&A session on the second Wednesday of each month at noon Eastern time.
Residents and fellows can register individually for $125; group pricing is also available, including a 20% discount for groups of 10 or more from the same residency program, the RLI said.
