Which U.S. diagnostic radiology residency programs offer the greatest number of resident positions? A new review of the Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database (FREIDA), the American Medical Association's database of residencies and fellowships, offers a list of the programs that have the most first-year positions.
The rankings are based on data updated as of October 10. The database allows medical students to search for residency programs or fellowships from approximately 11,000 programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The following radiology diagnostic programs offer the most first-year positions:
