Viztek, a Konica Minolta company, is unveiling the latest edition of its overhead tube crane system at this week's RSNA 2015.
The second-generation system offers enhanced features and adds to the company's growing digital radiography (DR) product line. It combines the benefits of Viztek's existing chest and table systems into one unit for facilities seeking a complete room replacement. The latest version is designed to provide versatility and ease-of-use for the technologist.
Key features include the following:
- Automatic stitching at the table and upright.
- A unique detector enclosure
- Enhanced automation offering remote control capabilities
- Improved weight capacity capable of capturing images on patients as large as 660 lb.
- Advanced software that can be paired with the Ultra DR software
The new system can also be paired with Viztek's pediatric imaging software to support dose efficiency initiatives.
