Radiation monitoring firm Landauer and testing-instruments provider RaySafe will showcase several new products and services at the upcoming 2019 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The companies will exhibit the following products:
- Landauer Optimize is a cloud-based patient dose optimization product that combines software and personal guidance from medical physicists. It requires only one hour per month to maintain, and it features automated monitoring with customized analysis, right patient doses, and maximum image quality.
- The RaySafe 452 radiation survey meter measures radiation in numerous applications, including locating spilled isotopes and measuring scattered radiation from x-ray machines and linear accelerators.
- The RaySafe i3 real-time dosimeter visualizes x-ray exposure in real-time using bar graphs to show the dose rate for each user. Measurements are simultaneously stored for postprocedure analysis to facilitate continued learning and to enable comparisons over time or between labs.
- The RaySafe X2 x-ray quality assurance (QA) test device features a large touchscreen display showing all measured parameters.
