Australian firm Micro-X is introducing new mobile x-ray models at RSNA 2021 based on its Nano Electronic X-Ray (NEX) technology.
The company is showcasing the Pico model, which is designed for use across hospitals, including in emergency medicine, and the Neo model for neonatal and pediatric indications. Both are based on Micro-X's carbon nanotube technology used to create small and light electronic x-ray tubes. The tubes come with a lifelong warranty, according to the company.
At RSNA 2021, the company will also showcase its Rover mobile x-ray unit, an integrated, NEX-technology product designed for hospitals and imaging centers with high throughput.
