Advanced visualization (AV) software developer Ziosoft is showcasing its new Atrena AV image viewer at RSNA 2024.
Atrena provides significantly enhanced 3D stereoscopic viewing capabilities from vendor-neutral DICOM images, according to the firm. The work-in-progress image viewer software will be integrated with Ziosoft’s Revoras platform, which generates simulated environments for exploration, analysis, synthesis, and presentation.
The firm is highlighting the benefits of Atrena for radiologists to provide surgeons with a new level of image analysis and facilitate better guidance for surgical procedures. IT could also be useful for interventional radiologists in planning and monitoring patient treatments, said Rajeev Taitriya, vice president of business development and marketing for Ziosoft.
The company said that both the Ziostation and Atrena platforms are designed to provide excellent CT and MRI visualization and analysis, and are available through a ZioFlex subscription program. Atrena is currently available for clinical use in Japan.
Ziosoft also noted that it was acquired by contrast injector firm Nemoto Kyorindo last year to broaden its growing line of radiological offerings.
