IMCO adds systems integration, network monitoring services

CHICAGO - PACS firm IMCO Technologies has introduced a systems integration center. IMCO said the addition will allow the firm to produce a wide variety of system types, from point-to-point teleradiology to filmless image management systems.

In other new services, The Pewaukee, WI-based IMCO is adding a network monitoring center, which allows the company to take proactive steps to prevent a problem from occurring, according to the firm. IMCO can also determine if the customer’s network, or any file servers on the network, is experiencing any unusual circumstances, according to the company. Once a potential problem has been identified, IMCO has special “healing” software, which can be used to bring the system back to its correct state, according to the firm.

IMCO also debuted a secure storage center, which allows customers to transfer its medical information to the firm for electronic storage. In the event of an on-site failure, clients could then retrieve their information electronically from the secure storage center, according to IMCO.
