CHICAGO - Dome Imaging Systems introduced a five-megapixel digital flat-panel display at this week’s RSNA meeting. Called C5G, the portrait-oriented display features a contrast ratio greater than 300:1, with a resolution of 170 dots per inch (dpi), according to the Waltham, MA-based vendor.
C5G features two Dome display controllers that work together: a digital interface board and a digital display board. The digital interface board allows for fast display updates and controls the setup, service, calibration, and operation of the flat panel, and also controls adjustments of its brightness, contrast, and hardware rotation for portrait display. The digital display board supports both single and dual-headed displays, at resolutions up to 2048 x 2560, according to Dome.
C5G joins Dome’s C3, 1536 x 2038, color and grayscale flat-panel displays in the vendor’s CX family of flat-panel monitors.
