Financial management firm NewBridge Capital's bid to purchase the assets and business interests of BodyScan Imaging and its affiliates has been dissolved by mutual agreement. The deal had been slated for completion by mid-December 2002.
BodyScan of Irvine, CA, is a developer and operator of imaging centers employing electron beam tomography (EBT) scanners from GE Medical Systems. Despite the deal's collapse, NewBridge still intends to locate and acquire imaging centers and related health products and services, according to the Newport Beach, CA-based company.
