PointDx adds to patent portfolio

Medical software developer PointDx has received an additional notice of allowance for its U.S. patent application 09/635,515, entitled "Method and Computer-Implemented Procedure for Creating Electronic, Multimedia Reports."

Scheduled to be issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the patent broadens PointDx's portfolio of intellectual property in virtual endoscopy, according to the Winston-Salem, NC-based firm.
