FDA clears GE's lung analysis software

The Food and Drug administration has cleared GE Healthcare's AdvantageALA, lung analysis software technology for CT used to evaluate lung nodules and other lesions.

Waukesha, WI-based GE said AdvantageALA also features a new digital contrast agent that will automatically highlight suspicious anatomical regions such as lung nodules.
