(Booth 3303) Virtual colonoscopy CAD software developer Viatronix of Stony Brook, NY, will highlight enhancements to its V3D-Colon software, and will discuss plans to launch a cardiac CAD application by the end of 2007.
For V3D-Colon, new developments include the ability to load any two colon image series for review and comparison; a view of the dissected colon segment without distortion or flattening; new "translucent view" color schemes that are user-editable; and creation of reports compliant with C-RADs guidelines.
V3D-Colon users in Europe and Canadian markets have access to a colon CAD interface that integrates CAD without any changes in workflow, while European customers have further access to automatic measurement of maximum diameter/volume of polyps with morphology analysis.
V3D-Cardiac is cardiac-oriented CAD software that Viatronix expects to release by the end of this year, pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance. The software includes automated tools that support optimized workflow and efficient image analysis, and will allow users to perform coronary as well as functional analysis in a single software suite.
