Koning Health has received approval from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for inclusion of the Koning Breast CT System in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
The TGA approved the system under ARTG No. 531059 on September 8. This approval clears the way for commercial supply in Australia.
The Koning Breast CT System uses cone beam computed tomography to acquire true 3D breast images without compression. Brisbane Radiology in Brisbane is the first Australian provider to purchase the system, the company said.
