Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon will showcase its CT Colon virtual CT colonography package at the 9th International Symposium on Virtual Colonoscopy this week in Boston.
The application includes automated segmentation and centerline generation for endoscopic evaluation; supine and prone study synchronization; visualization verification; and single-click polyp identification, according to the San Mateo, CA-based firm. An optional Spherefinder module can automatically highlight regions of potential interest, TeraRecon said.
In other features, the application also supports computer-aided detection (CAD) software from iCAD of Nashua, NH, or Medicsight of London. An integrated reporting feature also is included.
