(Booth 7713) Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, plans to unveil new details of its Brilliance iCT platform, designed to produce improvements in image quality and dose management.

Based on work by clinical partners who have completed more than 10,000 exams, Philips accelerated commercial delivery of iCT to the third quarter of 2008 rather than 2009 as originally planned and announced at the RSNA show last year.

In addition, new software applications that are exclusive to Philips will be demonstrated on the Brilliance Workspace and Brilliance Everywhere thin-client system. New automated features such as liver segmentation, plaque assessment, and whole-body bone subtraction will be showcased.

Finally, Philips will introduce a new product that is designed to deliver cost-effective care in response to facilities that have experienced challenges produced by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005.
