Group to offer new courses for Toshiba's Aquilion One

CVCTA Education is joining forces with AmiGenics and Nevada Imaging Centers to create two new educational courses on cardiac and neuroradiology applications for Toshiba America Medical System's Aquilion One CT system.

The courses will offer hands-on experience with the Tustin, CA-based company's Aquilion One scanner, including acquisition techniques, workflow, and radiation and contrast-reduction protocols, as well as opportunities to perform workstation interpretation of studies.

The cardiovascular CT course will be taught by Dr. Tony DeFrance, medical director of CVCTA Education and a clinical associate professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA. The neuroradiology course will be taught by Dr. William Orrison, chief of neuroradiology at Nevada Imaging Center, and Dr. Eric Hanson, chief of research and education at AmiGenics.
