Eastman Kodak Health Imaging has announced a plan to expand its practice of having medical imaging product specialists working in tandem with account managers. The combined specialist/account manager arrangement, which is already in place in Kodak’s analog film business, will be extended to other business units, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.
Kodak said it would focus the initiative initially on its digital capture business (computed radiography and digital radiography) and healthcare information systems operations. COO Candy Obourn said that the specialist deployments will vary by country, depending on market demands and imaging technology developments.
