Italian firm Ferrania will highlight LifeInVision DR 961, a DR system designed for general radiography, chest, and bucky configurations.
The system has an integrated operator console that creates a friendly operating environment to deal with patient worklists, diagnostic image acquisition, image viewing and image postprocessing, according to Ferrania, which has its U.S. headquarters in Woodbury, MN. A diagnostic image from DR 961 is displayed on the monitor within five seconds. LifeInVision DR 961 is currently available in Europe and makes its U.S. debut at the meeting.
The system will be available in other countries by the end of 2004. DR 961 belongs to the DR line that includes DR 982 and DR 942.
