Multimodality developer Philips Medical Systems has entered into a ten-year multimillion-dollar strategic agreement with Inova Health System, a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fairfax, VA, according to Bothell, WA-based Philips.
Under the terms of the contract, Philips will provide cardiovascular imaging equipment, consulting, and professional services to Inova Fairfax Hospital. In addition, the developer said it would supply Inova Heart Institute, scheduled to open next year, with products and services such as the Integris Allura Flat Detector, a 3-D rotational angiography catheterization lab, and three electrophysiology labs.
