Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) developer Volcano of Rancho Cordova, CA, said they have completed the first commercial installation of an Innova IVUS system.
The unit was installed at PinnacleHealth Heart and Vascular Institute at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. Innova IVUS is the custom integration of Volcano's s5i IVUS imaging system with GE's Innova digital cath lab imaging system.
