S&S Technology of Houston has launched CC300, a hospital-grade cabinet optimized for catheter storage.
CC300 features login password protection and electronic locking for secure storage and inventory tracking of expensive vascular supplies. Data logs track the date and time the cabinet was accessed, the user who opened the cabinet, and the time the cabinet was closed.
In addition, customized inventory reports can be automatically e-mailed to recipients. Details on items removed from cabinet with associated patient use can be tracked when captured using the optional bar code scanner or RFID scanner, and this information can be transmitted to the hospital inventory and billing system.
