Computed radiography (CR) vendor iCRco has named Daniel Valentino as chief technology officer (CTO).
Valentino has over 20 years of experience in the medical imaging industry, and will report to iCRco president and CEO Stephen Neushul. Prior to joining iCRco, Valentino was the chief scientist at Radlink of Redondo Beach, CA.
Prior to that, Valentino was director of cerebrovascular hemodynamics research in the division of interventional neuroradiology at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and was a founding member of UCLA's Center for Computational Biology. Earlier in his career, he was chief of imaging informatics for UCLA Healthcare, where he led the team that successfully developed and deployed UCLA's first enterprise-wide RIS/PACS.
