Canadian digital radiography (DR) developer Imaging Dynamics (IDC) of Calgary, Alberta, has been awarded a U.S. patent for an invention that balances areas of varying density in a digital radiographic image.
The technique is designed to improve the quality, contrast, and sharpness of digital x-ray images and enhance the ability to study obscured details within a digital image.
The U.S. patent was awarded to IDC in February.
