IDC wins Indian DR contract

Canadian digital radiography (DR) developer Imaging Dynamics (IDC) of Calgary, Alberta, has won a large contract from a state government in India.

IDC won the contract from the Uttarakhand Department of Health and Family Welfare's network of medical hospitals in Uttarakhand for its DR equipment, the company reported.

Five of IDC's X-Series 1600 DR systems with X4C imaging detectors have been ordered. IDC's regional distribution partner, Cura Medical Equipment, will manage the installation and ongoing support of the sites.
