(Booth 8313) At this year's RSNA conference, digital radiography (DR) vendor Canon Medical Systems of Irvine, CA, plans to feature the latest addition to its family of DR systems, Canon CXDI-60G, a portable flat-panel digital detector.
The new panel succeeds the company's CXDI-31 and is less than an 1-inch thick and weighs less than 6 lb. CXDI-60G has an imaging area of 9 x 11 inches and is suitable for imaging hands, elbows, feet, and knees. It also includes a detachable sensor cable, allowing for room-to-room installation from multiple locations, according to Canon.
The firm will also display CXDI-50G, a portable DR panel with a large imaging area of 14 x 17 inches; the device will be shown integrated with a RadPro 40-kW high-frequency digital mobile x-ray system. The company also will highlight its CXDI-40EG general DR sensor, with a 17 x 17-inch imaging area. CXDI-40EG will be shown integrated with the company's RadPro FM1 floor-mounted radiography system.
