(Booth 7713) On the cardiovascular x-ray side, multimodality vendor Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, plans to debut upgrades to its Allura Xper FD20 flat-panel angiography system, as well as a new work-in-progress wireless detector for general radiography applications.

2008 10 21 10 39 03 441 Philips2 Xra 2008Xper Table features automatic position control, while Xper Cradle allows interventional physicians and surgeons to roll the patient while keeping the region of interest in view. The company also will display Xper Information Management, a software tool that auto-populates a patient's demographic information into the chart.

Also in its booth, Philips will highlight work-in-progress wireless detector technology for general radiography applications. The detector operates without the use of cables and can be handled and positioned like a cassette. The detector has been designed for Philips' digital x-ray portfolio and will be integrated into the company's Practix Convenio digital radiography portable x-ray system.

The company also will showcase its digital radiography/fluoroscopy suite, including a configuration of EasyDiagnost Eleva with two digital detectors, one in the vertical stand and one in the table.
