X-ray component and equipment provider JPI Healthcare has introduced X-Vue DR Solutions, a family of digital radiography (DR) products designed to serve as a retrofit option for medical and veterinary applications.
The cassette-sized cesium iodide digital detectors feature automatic exposure detection technology and the company's ExamVue acquisition software, which provides capturing and processing of images and transmission to a physician for interpretation. The detector family also includes support for the DICOM Modality Worklist, procedure code mapping, CD/DVD burning with an embedded viewer, image stitching, and repeat-reject analysis, according to the vendor.
The detectors fit into any standard bucky and can be installed without having to connect to a generator interface cable, JPI said.
