CTI forms new group, shuffles management

PET developer CTI Molecular Imaging of Knoxville, TN, has formed a new segment in its CTI Solutions business. The CTI Solutions group combines P.E.T.Net Pharmaceuticals and CTI Services in order to bring more focus to the company’s recurring revenue business base, said the firm. Tom Hook, former president of P.E.T.Net and CTI Services, has been appointed to serve as president of the newly formed division.

In other management news, Greg Brophy, who previously served as a senior vice president of CTI, has been appointed to serve as acting president of CPS Innovations. Brophy replaces Ron Nutt, Ph.D., who was named president and CEO of CTI last week. Cliffreda Gilreath, who previously served as vice president, operations for CPS Innovations, has been appointed by the CTI board to serve as senior vice president of operations for CTI.

CPS manufactures PET systems that are sold by Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA; CTI; and Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH.
