PETNet inks deal with GlaxoSmithKline

PETNet Solutions of Knoxville, TN, has signed an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline in which PETNet provides PET facilities and services to the pharmaceutical giant.

As part of the deal, PETNet will supply PET isotopes to a GlaxoSmithKline pre-clinical research site located in Mt. Vernon, U.K. Additionally, the firm will have the option, at GlaxoSmithKline’s sole discretion, to license diagnostic PET probes that are developed by GlaxoSmithKline, according to PETNet, a subsidiary of PET developer CTI Molecular Imaging.
