Shared PET application gets FDA nod

PET services provider Shared PET Imaging has received Food and Drug Administration approval of its ClarityFusion software, according to the Canton, OH-based firm.

The application is a multimodality fusion application that allows physicians to compare PET studies with CT, MRI, and other modalities, the vendor said.
