Molecular imaging systems developer Gamma Medica-Ideas has selected distributors to sell and service its Flex preclinical imaging system in Japan and South Korea.
The distribution agreements give Tokyo-based SII NanoTechnology exclusive rights to distribute Gamma Medica-Ideas' Flex preclinical imaging system in Japan, while Seoul-based Taihan Metra wins exclusive rights to distribute the technology in South Korea, according to the Northridge, CA-based firm.
In related news, Gamma Medica-Ideas reported that Koji Iwata, Ph.D., has been appointed director of Asian operations. Iwata has been with the firm since 2002, and most recently was its manager of applications and support.
